Departure to Adventure

Unfortunately, the captain found his way back to the Manhattan Cruise terminal. We had one last meal with Chris and Brady and said our goodbyes to them and the crew. We hailed another cab to the RIU in Time Square, dropped our bags off, and then off we went again. It was a little early, so we found a movie theater and went and saw a matinee of “Skyscraper” with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
After our movie, we hopped on the subway and went to explore Union Square!! Dillon was in NY 4 years ago and went to a sports pub with his parents and was featured on Jerome Jarre’s snapchat story. So, naturally we went to find that same pub. Unfortunately, the pub was gone but it was replaced with a Korean BBQ place that used A LOT of the same decorations as the pub before. We had some appetizers then hopped on the subway again to China Town and Little Italy so Sammi could get her slice of NY pizza! On the subway again, we got off in Time Square and like always, we found ANOTHER Irish Pub and this one was called The Long Room! We enjoyed our beers and our Bavarian pretzel, then headed back to FINALLY get our hotel room!
After settling into our hotel room, we decided we would do something we have become really good at… eating AND drinking some more. We went to a sushi place called Kodama, skipped the Mochi and grabbed dessert from Carlo’s Bakery!!! Back in the room, we say good night before we have to wake up early for our flight HOME TOMORROW!!! We can’t wait to see our families!
