Our Journey to Atlantis

Nassau is soooo pretty! The different colored buildings and the beautiful blue skies (not for long though). We hopped on our bus and made a quick journey to Atlantis, but not before meeting our new friends Valerie and John!! The resort is gorgeous as we are walking through the grounds. While everyone headed to the beach, Dillon and I headed inside where the A/C is and where the fish are as well. Inside the aquarium, we saw some pretty neat fish, but the coolest thing we saw was a Devil Ray followed by a HUGE school of fish! After the aquarium, we went and sat at a bar. We met this really nice lady from Texas and after talking to her for about an hour, she recommended a restaurant and we went there to get some lunch.
While at lunch, Sammi looked out the window and it was POURING rain, so there went the idea of laying out in the sun before heading to the ship. So, what do we do now? Sit at the slot machines!! After playing for a bit (winning money of course) we headed back to the ship to do some souvenir shopping and then boarded our Norwegian Gem.
Back on the ship, we got ready for dinner (lathered on the aloe) and Chris and Brady came over for a drink. We headed over to one of the main dining rooms for a delicious dinner and we all enjoyed the bottle of champagne Delta was so kind to give us for our anniversary! After dinner we went and sat in the cigar lounge while Chris and Dillon enjoyed their cigars.
The food was great. The company was awesome. The music was fun. Now, it’s a good night for us!
