Delta One, Flight 2361 2A & 2B

Our flight was changed from a 767 with a 1-2-1 configuration in first class, to a 757-200 with a 2-2 configuration that wasn't a problem at all (because Dill was on the aisle). We mutually agreed, it may not be fun to be the window seat in a 2-2 configuration if you have a small bladder... Sorry Mr. Aisle Seat.

The flight began wonderfully with Delta's signature choice of a Mimosa, Orange Juice, or Prosecco (more on that Prosecco later). The flight attendants were very friendly, especially Natalie (from Brisbane, Australia). After settling in, we got to talking and Nat suggested that we go swimming with the pigs in the Bahamas (not sure if that's gonna happen). After a delay because of technical difficulties, we were in the air. For breakfast we had an assortment of fruit, pastries, and both of us had a Chilaquilles Breakfast Burrito (it may sound fancy, but we are pretty sure it was just chorizo and scrambled eggs).

After breakfast, we enjoyed watching our own programs... drink in hand of course... on our IFEs. Our in-flight entertainment screens were nice and big, and Delta Studio kept us entertained. We eventually both nodded off in our seats that become beds!!! So cool!!!

Next thing we knew, we had begun our approach to JFK when we were greeted by the whole flight attendant team with a bottle of that DELICIOUS Prosecco and a happy anniversary card! Smooth landing and then we were at luggage claim with bags in hand. We walked over to the taxi line which was quick and easy, and then we were finally checking in at the Westin at Time Square! Stay tuned to hear about our first day in New York!
