Rise and shine, its 2 am and we are ready to go! Started the morning off about 5 minutes before the alarm... which is ALWAYS a win. Shower, dressed, bags packed (frantically at the last minute of course), and off we go. But WAIT?! Do we have our passports? Too late, we are already 10 minutes on the freeway in our ExecuCar with our wonderful driver! It was a smooth ride down to LAX, being that it was 3 am definitely helped the traffic sitch, and the Lincoln Navigator wasn't too shabby either.
At LAX, arriving early for once, we had to wait on Delta to open up the Delta One Check-In Lounge. Everyone was helpful and cheery. After checking our bags (Sammi's was tagged heavy... SHOCKER) and enjoying a snack, we headed on over to the Delta Sky Club. We enjoyed some breakfast treats and coffee while writing our very first post!!!
It's now 5:30 am and we are getting anxious and excited to board our flight, Delta 2361, to the Big Apple, the City that Never Sleeps, NEW YORK!!!
